On The Might Of Princes - Where You Are And Where You Want To Be

Not to get all repetitive but here's another one of my favourite albums. Weird how you'd describe these guys as being a Post-Hardcore/Emo band, but they have a sound that you can't even compare to Farside. I guess it's because OTMOP can be also bunched in with a lot of those screamo "SKRAMZ" bands of the 90's, but even then they don't really fit in too well there. If this can be considered screamo, skram elitiests please don't hurt me for calling them screamo if they aren't, then this is by far my favourite screamo album.

Anyways, I'll just let the music do the talking and you can decide for yourself what you think of it.

Farside - The Monroe Doctrine

"I must have had a dream about you, cause I woke up in the worst of moods, and when I looked at the clock my day was already ruined."

This is one of my favourite albums ever. I think I could listen to it on repeat for days. 90's Post-hardcore/Emo from Orange County. I'd suggest reading along while listening, some of the lyrics will completely slay you. There's some pretty hardcore sounding parts, then it'll switch to the next track and it'll be an almost acoustic-like ballad.

Highlights on this record would be "I Hope You're Unhappy", "I'm Not Shy, I Just Don't Like You" and "Moral Straightjacket".
